Baby Information: Nickname, date of birth, gender (for generating vaccination schedules)
Vaccination Records: Vaccination status and dates (for tracking and reminders)
Device Information: Device identifier (for anonymous account binding and preventing duplicate accounts)
Usage Data: App usage patterns to improve our services

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information to:

Generate personalized vaccination schedules based on your country's immunization program

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase cloud servers and protected using industry-standard encryption. We do not store sensitive information on local devices.

Google Firebase: For authentication, data storage, and cloud functions
Apple Sign In / Google Sign In: For account authentication
Apple App Store / Google Play: For subscription payment processing

Correct inaccurate information
Delete your account and all associated data - You can delete your account at any time through Settings > Delete Account in the app. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers within 30 days.
Opt out of email notifications at any time
Request a copy of your data

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

8. Age Requirement and Children's Privacy

            Important: BabyVax is designed for parents and guardians to manage their children's vaccination records. While the app has a 4+ age rating (indicating content suitability for all ages), account creation and app usage is intended for adults only.
        

Age Requirement:

You must be 18 years or older to create an account and use this app
Children should NOT create accounts or use this app independently
The 4+ age rating indicates that our content is suitable for all ages, not that children are the intended users

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance):

We do NOT knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13
All child-related data (name, birthday, vaccination records) is entered by parents or legal guardians
We do not share children's information with third parties for marketing purposes
Parents can review, delete, or refuse further collection of their child's information by deleting their account

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us immediately at support@babyvax.space.

9. International Users

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. By using BabyVax, you consent to such transfer.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights including the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt-out of sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

11. European Union Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
